I had my original hearing aids for more than five years. At my most recent visit I decided it might be time for a new pair. Dr.Scarbrough did an exam, showed me the newest hearing aids from Oticon. I was familiar with them as my wife had just gotten a pair. I decided to get new aids, which was a really good decision. I could not be anymore pleased with the Oticon hearing aids. They certainly have made my activities much more enjoyable and alot less stressful. I would strongly recommend that if you’re having any issues hearing or are continually asking people to repeat things, get a hearing test, talk about the results and what hearing aids can do for you. Most audiologists will let you tryout a pair of aids to show you the difference that you will experience in your life. If you get hearing aids, be sure you go to a professional that can fit them to your needs. Get a quality pair of hearing aids, your quality of life is worth it. Your family and friends will appreciate you for your decision.

Experiencing a moderate to severe hearing loss can be very frightening. However, Dr. Scarborough at the Hill Country ENT has been amazingly patient and informative throughout the hearing tests as well as explaining hearing aid options. She offered an excellent hearing aid that opened a whole world of wonderful sounds I have been missing for far too long! Dr. Scarborough answered all my questions and concerns, even the silly ones, and has reassured me every step of the way! I am so grateful for her professional and friendly care.
